Candy Adriatico

Candy Adriatico is a newer subscription box that allows people to try candy from and around Slovenia. Each box contains original candy (full size or sample) picked by hand directly from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. The creator of the subscription box is from Ljubljana|Slovenia. Italy and Croatia are neighbors to Slovenia. It is such a small area that a person can visit both countries in the same day, if it necessary :).

Subscribers can choose a candy mix from all of three countries, or can choose “your Candy Adriatico box”, ex:, if someone wants to get only Italian candy, you have select the button “Candy Italia”, and so on.

Subscribers can select a 1 month, 3 month or 9 month subscription plan. The difference between them is how much you can save when you choose a longer subscription. They have SPECIAL GIFT in envelope (specific candy or snack, some cute or useful thing … J) for someone that subscribes to the 9-month plan (9 ordinary boxes + 1 gift envelope)

1 month: €20,7=aprox $23,15

3 month: €20,3=aprox $22,70

9 month: €19,7=aprox $22 + Gift envelope

January 2015 I kindly received this complimentary box for review purposes.	Yum! I wasn't sure what types of candy would be in this box other than an assortment. There is a little bit of everything in this box and it all looks very yummy!	Gorenjka I love foreign chocolate! It tastes much better than American chocolate. Mlečna čokolada z lešniki in rozinami – Milk chocolate with raisins and hazelnuts. Milk chocolate with raisins and hazelnuts is a secret of Gorenjka’s own recipe. It contains only top quality raisins and carefully selected and properly roasted cut hazelnuts. A thin bar (100g) is pleasantly soluble allowing the development of a great taste. This was very good! I've never had a chocolate bar with raisins, but it worked!
Gran Cereale Cereal bar with whole grain wheat, almonds and cranberries is a new genuine tile made from whole grains lightly roasted wheat, delicious almond and cranberry. They are good for healthy breakfast and for snacks! I took this to work with me for breakfast and it was delicious! Soft to bite into a little crunchy to chew from the different grains, sweet, but not artificial sweet as it mostly comes from the cranberries. I will have to search my World Market to see if they carry these tasty snacks.	FruFru One difference between American candy and foreign candy is the ingredients, everything is natural in this sweet treat. FruFru offers true outerspace fun with natural fruit juice strawberry, lemon and orange fruit flavours. It’s also without artificial colorings and flavors, so they can be easily satisfy your sweet tooth. These were also delicious, the lemon was actually tart like a real lemon, caught me off guard.	Domacico These are wonderful shortbread cookies with a delicious chocolate coated side. I expected these to be overly sweet, but was pleasantly surprised by the subtle sweetness of these cookies! The rest of my household also greatly enjoyed these also. Kras was the first chocolate manufacturer in southeastern Europe. The largest award was the fact that they have become the imperial and royal supplier of the Viennese court.
Bacio This treat comes directly from Italy – Bacio (Kiss) is just for you. But, this is not ordinary kiss. Filled with high quality milk chocolate and hazelnut in the middle of praline, covered with white chocolate and wrapped in a multilingual lovely note. I have tried Bacio before and ate this right after taking the picture because these are my favorite chocolates. I should have read the card first because when I unwrapped it I was shocked it was white chocolate, lol but it is just as delicious as the milk chocolate version! I only wished there was more than one of these delicious treats!
