Candy Adriatico
Candy Adriatico is a newer subscription box that allows people to try candy from and around Slovenia. Each box contains original candy (full size or sample) picked by hand directly from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. The creator of the subscription box is from Ljubljana|Slovenia. Italy and Croatia are neighbors to Slovenia. It is such a small area that a person can visit both countries in the same day, if it necessary :).
Subscribers can choose a candy mix from all of three countries, or can choose “your Candy Adriatico box”, ex:, if someone wants to get only Italian candy, you have select the button “Candy Italia”, and so on.
Subscribers can select a 1 month, 3 month or 9 month subscription plan. The difference between them is how much you can save when you choose a longer subscription.

 Feb. 2015Who doesn't love sweet treats?! Especially when they don't include artificial ingredients! |  Feb BoxEvery box includes a description of the sweet treats along with a personalized note. Candy Adriatico sent these earlier than their normal shipment date so they could be received before Valentines Day. Unfortunately, our repeated bad weather on the East Coast caused a significant delay in receiving the box. |  PostcardThis month's postcard is Piran! It has been added to my list of travel destinations. This city looks so beautiful and is one of the most romantic cities in Europe, which is very appropriate for the February Valentines box! |

 Dorina RizaDornia Riza is from Croatia made by Kras. These are delicious chocolate and rice bars (6 per package) The mini treat on the left is a Zanzibar from Croatia made of chocolate and nuts The 2 on the right are KI KI, also from Croatia. They remind me of Starburst, but so much better! |  Dorina RizaChocolate and rice is a wonderful combination! The rice is very crisp and soft at the same time and the chocolate is not too sweet like most American chocolates. I wish they sold more candy like this in the states. |  TrulyTruly by Sperfari from Italy. These are gummy candies made with natural ingredients and contain natural dyes such as paprika and black carrot anthocyanins. The information on the package is all in Italian, which I'm pretty rusty on, but can understand 30% real fruit juice and no artificial ingredients or colors. |
 TrulyThese candies are individually wrapped and have 5 fruit flavors. They again are not as sweet as most American candy. I'm not a big fan of super sweet candies so these are perfect for me. |  Loacker & Mini RoladaLoacker is from Italy, it is a crunchy milk chocolate cookie bar with wheatgerm crispies and filled with a delicious milky cream. These remind me of a cross between the Dorina & the Jardo. Again really enjoyed, they are sweet, but not too sweet. Mini Rolada are from Slovenia. They are Vanilla soft (cake like) rolls filled with vanilla cream and covered with chocolate. |  Mini RoladaAnother delicious treat made without artificial colors or ingredients. Slightly reminds me of Swiss Cake Rolls, but these are much better! |
